Where Are We Headed? The Destination?
The journey is described by the destination. Being moral and continuing in the effort needs to be encouraged by the goal or destination. It does no good, no matter how we travel, if we mean to go to Los Angeles and end up in Lisbon. The destination and goal (heaven) do impact the journey.
