Sunday, September 10: 
God Will Complete His Work in Us: Hope
“….he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion…” Philippians 1: 6
Some think this means the work of everyone (In Philippi? In the Roman Empire? In the whole world?). Others think this is the inner work of transformation. Either way, both seem far from finished. I am sometimes frustrated on both accounts. Yet Paul, who experienced this first hand, knows there is hope. In fact, he is confident that God will complete His work. I want to look at hope for the future.
