Therefore! One Should Always Know What Therefores Are There For!
“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” ~Romans 8:1
I was taught in seminary, in a class called Hermeneutics, to always know what your ‘therefores’ are there for. I’ve seen this saying, with variations, in several books since. Romans 8:1 is a classic case of this. Romans 8:1 is the conclusion of the previous 7 chapters. This single verse is monumental in any Christian’s life, if we could only fully grasp it. What does life look like without condemnation? We’ll explore that in this message.
