A Standing Ovation
This week we will hear from Rev. Dale Matthews who will be giving the background leading up to the death of the first martyr for the Christian faith and then will explore what the “Heavenly” response was to that first ultimate sacrifice for one’s faith in Jesus Christ.

Rev. Matthews was called to be the pastor at CLC in the spring of 1973 after the 26 charter families organized and became the newest congregation of the Reformed Church in America. This group first met in Daisy Brook School and eventually completed the church building in the fall of 1978. Rev. Matthews served at CLC until 1979.
