THE PATRIARCHS, Week 2 – Issac

The Patriarchs - Isaac WebThese Stories of Genesis are ancient. They describe the beginning of God’s people. The traits God built into them during the time of the Patriarchs are traits that are still necessary to God’s people today.

“Isaac: Who’s Laughing Now?” – Isaac in Hebrew means, “He Laughs”. The birth of Isaac is so unexpected, it was laughable to Sarah. God chooses Israel, God chooses us. It is so unexpected it’s laughable.

Scripture Passages: Genesis 18: 1-15 and 22: 1-16
