Wednesday Night Dinner
Church of the living Christ weekly Wednesday Night Dinner. Doors open at 5:30 pm, Dinner starts at 5:45 pm. This is our weekly church dinner with a suggested donation of $4.00 per person. Free to those who are unable to afford the donation price.
Community Wednesday Night Dinner
Community Wednesday night dinner at Church of the Living Christ. Every third Wednesday of the month Church of the Living Christ offers a free dinner to our community. All food is made in our licensed kitchen at our church. It is open to the whole community to share in fellowship as we eat some home cooked meals. Doors open at 5:30, Dinner starts at 5:45pm. There will be a kids corner available to help entertain the kids.
All are welcome.
Jr high/High School Youth Group
Jr high/High School Youth group monthly event. This month we will be meeting at CLC to start our city- wide Scavenger Hunt with a pizza party to follow. We meet once a month to have fun, fellowship and discuss how to bring Gods word into our lives and walk with the Grace of God. The dates for the youth gathering are flexible.
So, we will have to add the dates as we go
Sunday Services
Ongoing Every Month: Sunday services every Sunday at 10am with Sunday school for children and adults starting after the service. There is a short time for refreshments and fellowship prior to Sunday school starting.
Sunday school ends at 12:15. All are welcome.
Community Closet
Community Closet is a nonprofit that works with the most vulnerable in our community. Their moto is: Take what you need. Give what you can. Little becomes much in the Master’s hands. At Community Closet, they believe that everyone should have access to quality clothing and household items, no matter the budget. They believe that God is able to provide everything that we need out of His love and abundance. The items in our store do not have price tags. Instead, we just ask that everyone gives as they are able. This may mean donating gently used items, volunteering, or monetary giving.
Their store hours are Tuesday: 1pm – 5pm, Thursday: 1pm -5pm and Saturday: 10am – 2pm.
Prayer Partner Gathering
We invite all prayer partner adults and their youth to join us for a special Prayer Partner Meeting on Sunday, November 9th, immediately following the worship service. This will be the final gathering of prayer partners for the year. This allows for a meaningful opportunity to connect, share updates, and lift the youth up in prayer. To allow time for this important meeting, Sunday School for 6th–12th grade youth will not be held on this date. We encourage partners to come prepared to discuss any prayer. And don’t forget, each youth has a personal mailbox, so notes of encouragement and prayers can be shared anytime throughout the year.
Wednesday Family Night – 6th-12 Grade Youth are Cooking! - November 12th
Calling all 6th–12th grade chefs! Get ready to roll up your sleeves and show off your cooking skills at Family Night on Wednesday, November 12th. The dinner will be led by our amazing youth, who will be preparing a delicious “Breakfast for Dinner” feast! One of the highlights: Ryleigh will be serving up her famous pumpkin pancakes, we can’t wait to taste them! Youth will meet at the church at 3:00 PM to begin setup and cooking. Proceeds from the evening will go toward Winter Jam, and any extra funds will help the youth purchase a Nine Square game for future fun and fellowship. Friends are welcome! let’s make it a night full of food, laughter, and fellowship!
