Church of the Living Christ

Our History

Church of the Living Christ began March 12, 1972, and became an official reformed church on October 19th, 1972. We started meeting at a local elementary school until we had enough funds to build our church. Six years later, on March 12, 1978, we had a groundbreaking for our new building. On November 19th, 1978, we had our first service in our newly built church.

One of the first decisions made as a congregation was to be a mission minded church. The church to this day dedicates a portion of our budget to international and local missions. The other decision was to establish a day care within the church. This resulted in the ARK Christian Day Care Center which resides within the church to this day.

During these past 50+ years, there has been expansion in both the building and the congregation. Yet, our beliefs and mission have remained constant. We have always remained true to our biblically based theology. We are a family-oriented church, building a foundation of Christ-centered reformed gospel, continuing to praise God for his grace and faithfulness.
